Summary/Abstract: The principles of language organization reach the texts in several ways, both through written language advice and through the choices and decisions of the intermediary group, i.e. language editors. Language editors generally acquire the principles and knowledge of language organization at university, and later, of course, during work and self-improvement. In most cases, language editors have a philological education, the majority of editors have completed the Estonian philology curriculum. A significant part of the younger language editors are those who have studied language editing. You can currently study to become a language editor in the Master's program in Linguistics and Language Editing at Tallinn University and in the Master's program in Finno-Ugric and Estonian Philology at the University of Tartu with the support of subjects from the Estonian language maintenance module.
