Summary/Abstract: Letters from the Hand Writings’ Collection of the Brukenthal Library The author of the article aims at presenting 12 letters from the Brukenthal Library addressed to the curator Michael Csaki (1858–1927). The letters are very important as help us to unveil the truth about the „Schirmersches Familienbuch”, a manuscript which in 1745 was in the possession of Sophia von Brukenthal, but disappeared after the governor’s death. Other letters are dealing with the bequest of Baroness Berta von Brukenthal 1846–1908).
