Summary/Abstract: The paper presents a research on the presence of foreign borrowings, i.e English terms exclusively, in the current Romanian and Italian maritime publishing discourse. The study focuses on the articles found in four representative maritime magazines, Marina Romana and Marea Noastra for the Romanian corpus and Rivista Marittima and Lega Navale for the Italian one.
