Summary/Abstract: The aim of this article is to show that there is in Nichita Stănescu`s poetry a deep temporal sentiment, the poet lives in each volume the experience of a being which is limited by the time. It`s an unique sentiment of self-loss in nothingness. The questions and the answers related to temporality represent the substance of Nichita Stănescu`s poetry and, at the same time, the poetry constitutes the mean of salvation from Chronos` hands.
