Summary/Abstract: The article aims to indicate the importance of a healthy family lifestyle, especially for children and adolescents, emphasizing the importance of health in socialization. Health is the basis for life chances, as well as forms and possibilities of social participation and as such is determine by lifestyles of individuals and social groups (including families), which on the other hand are an element of the distribution of life chances.
