ON SOME SOCIOLINGUISTIC ASPECTS OF “HASANAGINICA”

Summary/Abstract: This paper aims to examine the so called “dark places” in the text, through the comparison of results in the study of the original template of our most famous folk ballad. By making some new obser-vations, we try to come closer to determination of its real content, as is currently possible. The focus is on the analysis on the lexical-semantic level, with some new insights into the social and cultural framework of ballad Hasanaginica.
