Summary/Abstract: The concept of "false memory" or "false recollections" entered the psychological vocabulary since the beginning of the 90s, being used to signal the presence of certain errors in the memorization process. Moreover, with the appearance and use of this concept, there was also a change in the specialized language, because it was delimited from the other terms used over time to signal similar problems.
