Summary/Abstract: The models and organization of the human personality are created in the early development of the individual. Deploying communication as an active process is crucial to every human being. Children with multiple disorders are also no exception. Their communication is severely limited due to the intensity of existing physical, mental, emotional problems or combinations of them. Improving the communicative skills of these children is tied to the identification of fundamental abilities that precede verbal communication. In the article special attention is focused on the consistency in the formation of the verbal abilities, their nature, significance and mechanisms of realization. The main emphasis is placed on the specifics of the development of the pre-lingual communication patterns in children with complex combinations of disorders in their overall functioning.
