Summary/Abstract: This article focuses on how the members of the alternative Czech rock music scene experienced the 1990s. It is based on oral history interviews with rock musicians as well as with music club managers, concert promoters, a music manager, and a publicist. The aim of the article is to outline the possible narratives of these actors about the era of the 1990s and map whether these narratives remain the same for the entire decade.
