Summary/Abstract: The article interprets Paisius of Hilendar’s Slavo-Bulgarian History. The book is situated in the context of the other historical works of Balkan historians of the 15th and 18th centuries (Chroaten, Serbian and Bulgarian). Slavo-Bulgarian History is interpreted in connection with their historical works. The article highlights those accents, for which Bulgarians from the Revival period preferred Slavo-Bulgarian History.
