Summary/Abstract: Beyond words, speeches, written materials, what happens in everyday circumstances, the highest and purest form of remembering Eminescu remains a pious prayer. Church servants, writers, scholars and simple people felt Eminescu as their own, a symbol, a model. In his vast creation, Eminescu often referred to the words of the Gospel, to those of the great Fathers of the Church. There is much evidence that prove Eminescu’s familiarity with the religious universe. He was a friend and admirer of the holy writings, the servants of the Church and the teaching of faith. In response to his love for the Church, Eminescu received special attention from her servants.
