Summary/Abstract: The list of buildings from Bacău at 1850 is a document issued in the process of urban modernization initiated in Moldova through the Organic Law (Regulamentul Organic). The discovery and publication of this document brings us new information about urban, demographic, social, economic and onomastic situation of Bacău town in the middle of the nineteenth century.
