Summary/Abstract: In the frames of the EU antitrust law, dominant position on the market is not forbidden, unlawful and punishable by its own. The EU competition law applies only if undertakings abuse dominant position they possess on the single market. Accordingly, it will be first explored what dominant position on the single market is i.e., how to establish existence of dominant market position and afterwards it will be researched when dominant position is considered to be abused pursuant the EU antitrust law.
