Summary/Abstract: The article includes archive documents referring to the six new villages created for the deportees in Galați Region. During the night between the 17th and 18lh of June 1951 they had been removed from their homes in the communes and towns located along the Yugoslav border, from Timiș, Caraș, Mehedinți and Dolj counties. At the end of a long and worrisome journey, the deportees arrived at the destination in various villages in Galați Region, on the 22nd, 23,d and 24lh of June 1951, the last group arriving on June 25, 1951.
