Summary/Abstract: In this research, the author investigates the way that the communist regime realized propaganda through cinematography using as a case study the film Mircea, screened by Sergiu Nicolaescu in 1989. The author presents the distribution, the context of the movie, the propagandistic method and the context of its production. The main topic of the presentation focuses on the historical information used as a tool in order to develop a Messianic idea and cultivate the cult of personality. The pure cinematographically literature and the other literature constitute the most important sources of the presentation.
