The Relationship between Intrapreneurship and Innovation Orientation

Summary/Abstract: In the research, it was aimed to investigate the relations between intrapreneurship and innovation orientation of faculty members working at a state university, and the relations between internal entrepreneurship and its sub-dimensions and innovation orientation were tried to be determined. Furthermore, the differences between demographic variables, intrapreneurship and innovation orientation were attempted to be defined. Within the scope of the research, data were collected from 280 faculty members at Karabuk University through a questionnaire. Independent Sample T-Test, One-Way ANOVA and Pearson Correlation methods were employed for the analysis of the collected data. The claim that there is a relationship between intrapreneurship and innovation orientation, which is the main hypothesis of the research, could not be proved statistically. The hypothesis that the relationship between intrapreneurship and innovation orientation differs according to demographic variables has also been partially proven statistically.
