Summary/Abstract: The starting hypothesis of the paper is the claim that the efficiency of B-H companies' appearance in the international market depends on the applied target market entry strategy, i.e. that higher forms of strategies lead to better productivity and profitability of the internationally-focused firms. The efficiency is expressed by the productivity and profitability of the internationally-focused firms. In terms of teh model, efficiency indicators are viewed as dependent variables, while the applied international market entry strategies are treated as independent variables. Three variables are studied: trade per employee, export per employee, and profitability. In the multiple regression analysis model, these variables are studies as the function of the seven applied international market entry strategies: 1) indirect exports, 2) production sub-contracting transactions (lohn transactions), 3) direct exports, 4) licensing arrangements, 5) cooperatove arrangemenrs, 6) joint ventures, and 7) company-owned manufacturing enterprise abroad. Research results have not proved the hypothesis, the main reason being the low level of B-H companies' internationalization, and the circumstance that the most profitable companies are those that have the lowest level of the development of the applied international market entry strategies.
