Summary/Abstract: The paper is devoted to the presentation of the impact of climate change on the safety of civilians. It has been divided into three main parts. The first one is devoted to the issue of the relationship occurring between man and the environment. The second one presents selected causes of climate change. The third one includes selected effects of climate change, with particular emphasis on their impact on human safety.
