Summary/Abstract: In the current research, based on a questionnaire, we aim to observe how people who learn Romanian as a foreign language acquire characteristic lexical structures of verbal conflict. The acquisition of a foreign language is primarily based on the standard register (current), as the intention is to acquire the literary version of the language. Learning manuals respect ethical principles. However, in order to have efficient, natural and connected communication with as many types of affect as possible, the foreign speaker needs to master aspects of colloquial language, among which are those characteristic of verbal aggression. In this sense, we will try to observe both a series of stages that speakers who learn Romanian as a foreign language go through in the acquisition of aggressive language, and the existence of a potential communicative style promoted by this category of speakers.
