Adequate involvement of military teams in the disaster area can play a vital role in saving human lives, reducing property damages, economic losses and environmental problems. Ensuring good coordination between military and civilian units during disaster response and recovery requires trust among all parties, mutual understanding of objectives and capabilities, joint training and education, legislative development, and more.
