Summary/Abstract: This paper presents some considerations regarding the cultural heritage in the patrimony of the National History Museum of Transylvania originating from the First World War, which were intended to support war propaganda. The propaganda messages were disseminated with the help of newspapers, posters, badges, medals and decorations, through the countless illustrations on postcards sent from the front or from home, but also through the most mundane decorative objects present in each house, going as far as children’s toys.
