Semi-salon "Mythokatalysis"

Summary/Abstract: Semiosalon's autumn series was entitled "Mytocatalysis", which is made up of two Greek words, μῦθος (myth) and κατάλυσις (catalysis). The title is inspired by Roland Barthes' works on myth. The choice of topics emphasized the role of myth in contemporary social discussions, where myth underpins both progressive and reactionary projects. The first four sessions of autumn took place online, the last, the fifth as a hybrid, i.e. you could also participate on site in Tartu.
