Summary/Abstract: The "Social Policy 2018: Values, Visions, Trends" international workshop was held at the University of Economics in Prague on 22 November 2018. The workshop brought together a number of highly-respected experts in their fields, such as Jaroslav Vostatek (Vision of Czech Pension Reforms), Peter Sika (the Slovak Pension System under Changing Socio-Economic Conditions), Mirka Wildmannová (What are the Options for Families with Children in the Labour Market?), Jan Mertl (Selected Imperfections of Financial Support for Families in the Czech Republic), Martin Holub (the Consideration of Parenthood in the Pension System of the Czech Republic), Martina Štěpánková Štýbrová (Current Issues concerning Fatherhood and Motherhood in the Context of the Labour Market), Ivan Douda (Drug Issues and New Threats in 2018) and many others who used the opportunity to actively discuss and recount their personal experiences of the various topics raised.
