Accessibility of government services for people with limited mobility

Summary/Abstract: Public administration offices are obliged to create conditions that allow persons with limited mobility and other disabilities to fully take advantage of the provision of public administration services. Barrier-free use is a matter of public interest. Technical requirements exist in terms of barrier-free use. However, failure to comply with regulations is common and modifications so as to allow access for the disabled are often made in an inappropriate manner. The article deals with barriers to access to buildings and independent movement within public administration buildings, i.e. it addresses the issue of barriers to the movement of disabled persons.
