Summary/Abstract: Currency board is one of the most successful reforms in Bulgaria after the democratic changes. This monetary regime is one of the keys to economic recovery by putting the end of the uncontrolled printing of money and ensures stability of the lev and restore confidence in it. It seems that the currency board system, as it is known regime will remain until Bulgaria's accession to the eurozone. Thus, the country will become one of the few in the world so long action monetary board.
