Summary/Abstract: The present study examines the nature of power and the manifestations of privileges in the ancient states of Persia, China and India (VIII – III century BC). A classification of the privileges in these ancient societies was made, indicating the reasons for their development at that time. A special place is given to the theoretical roots of privileges and their immediate realization in the political and economic spheres.
