Organization of intelligence protection in the Republic of Bulgaria

Summary/Abstract: In a synthesized form, the content of the term „Intelligence Protection“ can be defined as the activity of specialized structures in the country (intelligence, counterintelligence and administrative). The role of intelligence is crucial and takes the form of every possible crack in the national security of states. 21st Century Intelligence has little to do with Cold War intelligence, as threats today have a different and unusual structure.
