Summary/Abstract: In the present article we will try to apprehend how the group of carols arranged by the composer Sigismund Toduță transmit Christian values and facilitate the context of freedom in which they can be discovered, accepted and transferred to the next generation. Comments related to the musical structure and the message of the carol texts will show that they retained their pedagogical value and sacred content even in the consumerist society of the 3rd millennium. This is true even for carols that have mostly profane verses. The texts of the carols contained in this assembly are present in several collections of carols that we will mention.
