Summary/Abstract: Following Thomas Kuhn’s theory about the shift of paradigms in the scientific field, with his specific annotation about the relation between art and science in the dynamic of the development and change of the thinking patterns, this article aims to provide the main similarities, but also the central differences in the process of shifting paradigms in arts, using a series of case studies specific for conceptual art.
