Summary/Abstract: This collection of studies is about the Budapest Sociolinguistic Interview, i.e. it focuses on the large-scale sociolinguistic research conducted at the Institute of Linguistics of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences between 1985 and 2010, which aims to describe the language use in Budapest as completely as possible on the basis of a large database.
