Summary/Abstract: Geneva Act of the Hague Agreement Concerning the International Registration of Industrial Designs was adopted by the Diplomatic Conference on July 2, 1999. The establishment of a link between the Community design system and the international registration system under the Geneva Act is enabling designers to obtain, through one single international application protection for their designs in the Community under the Community design system and in the territories of the Geneva Act inside and outside the Communit.
