Summary/Abstract: The article presents some aspects of the activity of Traian Brăileanu (1882-1947), in his capacity as Minister of National Education, during the short period of the legionary government in Romania. As in the case of the other ministries they held, the representatives of the local Extreme Right tried to apply in reality, their own nationalist ideology, with radical accents. Anti-Semitism was one of the hallmarks of the legionary government. Traian Brăileanu's mandate was no exception.
