Summary/Abstract: The term intercultural communication was first used in the United States when awareness of the problems of newly formed foreign contacts increased in the 1950s. Internationalization in economic and political life needs interculturally competent people. The mobility of people, globalization, political events, all these are reasons for the use of intercultural learning.
