Summary/Abstract: Bosnia and Herzegovina is a territorially small country that is decentralized. Decentralization also affected the work of the police. The police represent the administrative body by means of which the prosecutor's offices, or prosecutors, carry out their activities in the investigative procedure, and therefore the inspectors who carry out the prosecutor's orders should be trained to carry out the orders in the best possible way. The paper deals with the issues of: police reform in Bosnia and Herzegovina, police agencies at the level of Bosnia and Herzegovina, ministries of interior affairs at the level of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina and cantons. The method of employment of police officers, primarily junior inspectors, as well as their salary coefficients, is problematic. Through the work, we want to point out the problems of police reform in Bosnia and Herzegovina, in addition to the problems of the reform, the work also deals with problems that are within the legal framework, but also solutions to them, primarily at the level of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
