Summary/Abstract: Bosnia and Herzegovina has three official languages, very similar and interrelated languages: their speakers communicate without difficulty, but in official communication, documents are prepared and published in all three languages: Bosnian, Croatian and Serbian. In this paper, we will talk about linguistic phenomena that are exploited to make a difference in form between language versions and thus justify the existence of trilingual official correspondence. From the research presented in the paper, we will get answers to the questions of whether these differences are really necessary, whether they become a goal in themselves or whether they can bring versions and languages closer together.
