Summary/Abstract: The informatization of civil proceedings is a process that has been going on for 20 years, andcurrently, the regulations governing it are scattered in several acts. First of all, regulations oninformatization are included in the Code of Civil Procedure, but also in the Law on the system ofcommon courts, the Act on electronic delivery service (Art. 1312 of Code of Civil Procedure), theAct on land and mortgage registers, the Act on the registered pledge and register of pledges, the Act on the National Court Register, and the Code of Commercial Companies. However, itshould be noted, that the provisions regulating the registration procedure can be found in theCode of Civil Procedure. The provisions of civil procedure concerning the informatization of thisprocedure have now been shaped by the amendment to the Code of Civil Procedure of 10 July2015. This amendment entered into force on 8 September 2016. This study does not cover enforcementand bankruptcy proceedings, due to the detailed and very extensive regulation ofthese proceedings, also in terms of their informatization.
