Human Value Reflected in the Christian Education and in the Social Measures Promoted by the Baptists in Romania

Summary/Abstract: Though familiar concepts such as “human value” or “human dignity” sound very theoretical or philosophical, they are, in fact, as practical as they can be. The conversation about the subject of human value is in vain unless it finds application in the daily lives and struggles of human beings. Therefore, the aim of this paper is to examine a very practical field where one may find a real interest for human value and dignity. We will look at the Christian Education and some of the main social measures promoted by the Baptists in Romania. As we explore these specific measures, we will discover that both their motivation and finality are related to human dignity and the teachings of the Word of God.
