Summary/Abstract: The article deals with the role of Khristian Rakovsky as Chairman of the Council of People’s Commissars of the Ukrainian SSR and at the same time the Chairman of the People’s Commissariat of Foreign Affairs of the Soviet Ukraine in the establishing international relations of the Ukrainian SSR, its international recognition, and analyzes his efforts to pursue an independent autonomous foreign policy line on the international scene.
