The Main Pillars of the Educational Proces in the Technical School Complex in Koło During the Term off Office of Director Janusz Kowarski ( 1991-2016 )

Summary/Abstract: The above article describes the main pillars of the educational process on which the Technical School Complex in Kolo bases its didactic activity. This practice was introduced by the then headmaster of the school, Janusz Kowarski, in the first decade of this century. These pillars are: ecology, automotive, information and communication technologies, foreign languages. The article presents activities inspired by the school management and teachers and implemented with the participation of school students. It discusses, inter alia, innovative activities and educational projects implemented in the Koło Team, such as: „Eco-School”, „Eco-Moto-School”, „Info-School”, „Design-Clean Koło”, Tournaments Automotive, the activities of the School Go-Kart Club „SPEED”, „Necropolis of Kolska”, „Koło – the city of four cultures”, „European Day” and many others. The undertaken activities significantly contributed to the creation of an institution offering alternative, innovative solutions, distinguished in this respect among other schools operating in the Koło poviat.
