Summary/Abstract: In connection with the democratization and jargonization of modern Russian speech and the increasing role of mass media, researchers increasingly began to turn to the problems of euphemisms and dysphemisms of the Russian language (including phraseological ones). At the same time Internet discourse, characterized by a number of specific discursive features, which include openness, anonymity, expressiveness has become a new large-scale and public “wall” for the expression of opinions and self-presentation and helps to fixate the expressive vocabulary and phraseology. The paper analyzes functioning of phraseological dysphemism and phraseological euphemism in Russian Internet Discourse. The study focuses on the description of the mechanisms of their inclusion in the context of electronic mass communication media.
