Summary/Abstract: The Church’s theology encompasses all segments of life and it cannot be reduced solely to „inner“ issues. Theology means service and responsibility for men and world, as well as caring for the wellbeing of all our contemporaries. It is only when Orthodox Christians understand their mission in the world as witnessing eternity in time that it will be possible to really comprehend religious pluralism and to respect all differences. Such a thing is possible only when there is a strong faith without stereotypes. Violating somebody’s freedom is unacceptable, for it is against the love of God. A healthy ecclesial attitude overcomes dubious cold-heartedness and fanaticism. That is why responsible believers should promote the culture of difference by witnessing the truth in love. That is not an easy task, for there are many possible sideways for those who get tired, and these sideways often lead to schisms. A man of firm faith is not self-sufficient because he measures everything by the endless love of God, and not by his own interests that may be influenced by one’s ancestry and affiliation. One lives by faith and never gives up the orthodoxy, and it is worth noticing that each kind of hatred is an ungrounded betrayal of faith due to violent impulses toward those who do not share our beliefs. People whose convictions are not same as ours are not our enemies and dissidents that should be eliminated. If that is impossible to achieve, than at least we should „agree to disagree“. It is very important that we, who honestly believe, never give up on love of God.
