Summary/Abstract: The paper examines the echoes of Frank O’Hara’s poetry in the poetry of the generation of the eighties in Romanian literature, starting from what can be named a personal canon, built upon a certain number of anthologies.The poets analyzed, both by their work, and by critical references to it, are Andrei Bodiu and Romulus Bucur.
