Summary/Abstract: The article concerns the history of the work on The Dictionary of Jan Kochanowski’s Polish. This is followed by the description of the macrostructure and microstructure of the lexicon. It ends with some remarks on the importance of The Dictionary of Jan Kochanowski’s Polish to Polish lexicography and future research. The achievements of the authors of this dictionary are also characterized.
