Summary/Abstract: This study, which was conducted to determine the travel motivations, spending amounts, preferences and desires that brought Iranian tourists to Iğdır, was carried out with Iranian tourists entering through the Gürbulak Border Gate. As a result of the analyzes made with the SPSS package program, the source (67.4%)that is effective in the travel decisions of Iranian tourists is the recommendation of relatives. The first three reasons for choosing Iğdır are shopping, visiting relatives and commercial activities. The organization of travel for Iranian tourists is mostly individual. In terms of income level, middle and upper middle make up the majority. The first four expenditures of Iranian tourists are clothing, other expenditures,accommodation, food and beverage. Accommodation, food-beverage, recreation-animation and transportation groups were determined arithmetic as a result of the independent group t-test, which was carried out to determine whether the accommodation, food-beverage, recreation-animation, transportation,clothing and other expenditures of Iranian tourists participating in the research show a significant difference according to the gender variable. The difference between the averages was found to be statistically significant. As a result of one-way analysis of variance (ANOVA), it has been determined that there is a significant difference in accommodation, food and beverage, transportation, clothing and other expenses of Iranian tourists according to education and occupation. Again, it has been determined that there is a significant difference in accommodation, food and beverage, clothing expenditures of Iranian tourists according to age and income level.
