Summary/Abstract: The issue of Islam and science is an issue that has been debated for years, even centuries, and dates back to the 2nd and 3rd centuries A.H. There have been many debates on questions such as whether Islam promotes science or hinders it. This issue in particular caused a difference of opinion among Muslims. What we mean by science here is not just religious sciences. The word science has been used in the sense of all worldly and religious sciences and sciences. Some people said that Muslims are religion, that is, they only turned to religious sciences, they neglected worldly sciences, so they fell behind. Others said that Muslims remained behind because they moved away from religion, that is, because they tended towards worldly sciences. But it is a fact that we have moved away from science and lagged behind. In this article, we will explain how this divergence is caused and what awaits us in the future, I hope.
