INTERDISCIPLINARY ANALYSIS OF ÂŞIK VEYSEL'S POETRY “DON'T BE FOOLED BY THE IGNORANT TALK”

Summary/Abstract: Âşık Veysel, who won the love of people from all walks of life and has an important place in Anatolia with his poems, playing style, love of people, spiritual and mystical approach, was born in Sivas. In our study, an interdisciplinary analysis of Âşık Veysel’s poem “Don't be fooled by the ignorant ignorant” has been made. In this context, the poet's poetry has been tried to be evaluated in terms of sociology and philosophy. Because the works of Âşık Veysel, who is our cultural value and has an important place in the world of literature, have deep contents that carry many sociological and philosophical traces.
