Summary/Abstract: Bertrand Russell’s On Denoting, published in 1905, is a classic text of logic. In this study Russell presented his theory of descriptions, and underscored its importance not just in the fields of logic and mathematics, but also in the field of the theory of knowledge. My paper is a short presentation of Russell’s theory with the help of first-order logic.
