Risk factors inside the personality dimension in the case of violent offenders

Summary/Abstract: The present article intends to identify some personality styles and disorders specific to sexual offenders and to propose a conceivable grouping modality by taking into account the risk factors inside the personality dimension. We have identified three subcategories of sexual offenders, being aware of the fact that they are not a homogenous group of people although they have common features: the lonely, secluded, detached unfit social type, the seemingly megalomaniac theatrical type and the antisocial aggressive type.
