Summary/Abstract: Tyana Ancient City excavations in Kemerhisar town of Bor district of Niğde province started in 2001 and continue today. During the studies, the remains of the Roman, Byzantine, Anatolian Seljuk, Principalities and Ottoman periods were reached. During the Arab raids and the first Turkish conquests, the region changed hands frequently as a result of the struggles with the Byzantines. For this reason, it lost its importance for a period and remained in a dilapidated state. In the Anatolian Seljuk and Principalities periods, the existing ceramic finds show that the region regained its importance. It is seen that the number of finds in the region after the Principalities period until the Late Ottoman period was almost non-existent. The cup and bowl finds from the Late Ottoman period, which were found during the excavations, indicate that active life continued in the region during this period. In addition to the cups, serigraphy decorated samples and bowls indicate that people with high economic income may have lived in the region during this period. It is thought that the cup and bowl finds, which will be discussed for the first time and examined in detail in our study, will shed light on the Late Ottoman period settlement in the region.
