Summary/Abstract: 2020 marks 100 years of the institutionalization of the European model of constitutional control. The article draws attention to the predecessors of constitutional justice in Austria. The current Austrian Constitution and the Federal Constitutional Court of Austria are presented - its composition, its administration and some of its main powers.
